RED WHITE & BREW  – McLARENVALE

After we pick you up in the city at 9.00am (or 8.30am in Glenelg), we travel south to the stunning Southern Vales.

Our first stop of the day is Beach Road Wines. This family-owned and operated boutique winery, specialises in small batch wines with premium grapes, crafted and bottled onsite. Enjoy their crisp whites, textured Italian varietals and smooth, deep reds whilst taking in the spectacular view across the vines, the McLaren Vale township and stunning rolling hills.

We jump back on the bus and continue to the south side of McLaren Vale and arrive at the renowned Richard Hamilton Wines. The Hamilton family have been involved in winemaking and grape growing since the 1840’s, spanning five generations. They produce a colourful range of fruit driven wines attributed to McLaren Vales, Mediterranean climate.

If you can, choose a favourite and purchase a glass (or bottle) to enjoy whilst enjoying a lunch of regional produce.

After lunch we head into the township of McLaren Vale where you can enjoy some free time to discover why this part of the world is so special. Maybe sample the iconic FruChoc at the FruChoc Shop!

We’ve discovered the Red and White of the tour…now it’s time to beGin our trip home stopping first at a popular gin distillery to savour tastings of the core range of gins!

From here we head south to visit the rustic charms of South Coast Brewing Co. Where you can meet the brewers, view the brewery or just relax and sample their many wares in the tap house. If you’re feeling a little competitive you can enjoy a round of mini golf at their purpose-built golf course!

Finally, relax and reflect on the day as we travel back to the city for a 5pm finish.
